O'Meara's Cottage Loft (formerly the Connemara Guest House) started welcoming guests in 2006 as a natural extension of the business below it, O'Meara's Irish House (an Irish import store). We felt there was a need for true Irish hospitality in Door County, or as we like to say County Door. After travelling all around Ireland ourselves for more than thirty years, we wanted to replicate the warm welcome we've received at countless B & B's and hotels. If you've had the chance to visit Ireland, you know just what we mean. You feel as though you are welcomed into someone's home rather than a lodging establishment.
In early 2011, our cottage loft was newly remodeled. We now feature a pillowtop king size bed, flat screen T.V. and beautiful hardwood oak floors. We know you will love the new look as much as we do.
