Orders & Returns

1. What is your return & exchange policy?

If you’re looking to return or exchange your online order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer online order returns within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

We offer in store returns after 7 days of purchase.

2. What are your exceptions on returns?

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

  • Discounted items 30% or more are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in the original state.
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

3. How long will it take to get my package?

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding holidays) for in stock items after receiving your order confirmation email. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Most orders arrive via UPS Ground within 1 - 4 business days.

4. Do I have to pay for shipping?

Free Shipping is offered for orders over $75. Orders below $75 will be charged a flat $9.50 rate. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

5. Are there any restrictions for shipping?

If you have a post office box, we will automatically switch your order to ship through USPS. 

6. Do you offer international shipping?

We offer international shipping to the following countries: Canada.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. O’Meara’s Irish House,LLC is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

7. How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to track your order. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within five business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at megan@omearasirish.com or (920) 868-3528 with your name and order number, and we will track the status of your order.

8. What carriers do you use?

We use UPS Ground for the majority of our orders. UPS transit times are between one to five business days, with Saturday delivery standard to most residential addresses. We also ship some items via USPS for some orders including customers with post office boxes and orders being shipped to Canada.

9. What if my item is faulty or has damages?

In the rare event that your item has damage, please contact us immediately via email at megan@omearasirish.com. We stand behind every item that we sell and we will either repair or replace your item.  If we cannot repair or replace your item, we will issue you a full refund.  

Store and Product Information

1. Do you offer curbside pickup?

If you’d prefer to pick your order up at our store, we are located at 3970 State Highway 42 (Main Street) Fish Creek, WI 54212.  We also offer curbside pick up if you’d rather stay in your car.  For curbside, please call us at (920) 868-3528 to let us know you are here and we will bring your order out to you. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within one business day and we will contact you to let you know.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am - 4pm Monday - Saturday on and 11am - 3pm on Sunday. Please have your order confirmation email upon arrival.

2. Can I add gift wrapping and/or a gift message?

Absolutely! Simply select "Gift Wrapping" upon checkout. We also have a space to write out a special gift message.

3. How do I care for my wool garment?

This is general information which applies to MOST of our wool sweaters.  PLEASE NOTE:  ALL CARE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE TAG OF EVERY ITEM THAT WE SELL.  PLEASE CHECK THE TAG BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO LAUNDER YOUR KNITWEAR. 

When washing your knitwear & wool sweaters, it’s important to hand wash them, never machine wash as it can cause shrinkage. Lukewarm water is most suitable for wool as very hot or cold water may cause them to shrink.

Only use a small amount of detergent, too much can be difficult to rinse from your knitwear & wool sweaters, which may leave them coarse. Try to wash one at a time to avoid any color mixing.
You should never wring or scrub your wool knitwear as this can cause pilling and stretching.  For drying, place your sweater flat on a towel and allow it to air dry. Please note it might take a day or two to fully dry. 

We recommend Mitchell's Woolly Wash, which we sell.

Payment Information

1. Why won't my payment go through?

This can happen to customers at times as a security precaution. The first thing we suggest to do is to check all details provided including expiration date and security code.

If the above doesn't work please call your bank and inform them of your purchase. They may tell you to wait 15 minutes before attempting to put your payment through again.

Some credit card issuers and banks require prior notice from the cardholder that the card will be used to purchase online. Please ensure your card issuer or bank is aware you intend to purchase online.

We also have the option to pay via Paypal. If you are still having difficulty placing your order we can facilitate an offline order over the phone.
